I am so excited to introduce to you the first of what I hope is many Friday Fights.

Allow me to explain. On Fridays, my kids and I will take on a subject to discuss. These viewpoints may contradict each other, or we may just discuss a topic from varying viewpoints, those viewpoints being Mom VS Kids–14 year old boy & 12 year old girl.

Last weekend, I took my son to see The Avengers Infinity War. He loves comic book movies, and I love going to the movies. We don’t go often, but this was a special occasion. My son (and daughter) participated in a fundraising event put on by their school. As part of a global outreach initiative, they partnered with the Ugandan Water Project.

UWP provides clean water for communities in Uganda who currently still walk hours to collect water that is dirty and contaminated.

My son decided to set the bar high. He made his goal to raise $1000 for this project, while his younger sister chose to raise $500. Each of them surpassed their goals, raising $1102 and $612, respectively. It was a proud momma moment where I got to revel in the fact that my kids chose to participate in something beyond themselves and beyond their community, and in doing so, impacted the world. Yes, even two kids from a little podunk town can change the world.

Anyway, back to the fighting. lol. I took #1 to see the Avengers and we had the following conversations. Don’t worry, you’re safe. NO SPOILERS are revealed in these videos.

After the movie, we had to do an “AFTERMATH” video. Below are the thoughts. But I promise, NO SPOILERS. It’s safe to watch if you haven’t seen it.

We want to hear your thoughts! Did you see Avengers Infinity War? Do you have predictions? Tell us!!!
